Jeremy Hiah (b.1972)

b.1972, Singapore

Jeremy graduated with an RMIT degree in LASALLE College of the Arts and has been involved in the arts since 1993. His oeuvres span from paintings, installation to performance art and sculptures, often a commentary on the social system, where and how one lives in a society.

He has since travelled and performed widely in these countries – Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, South Korea and China. Selected:  Austria (UNESCO Artists In Residency, Hong Kong Art Center, Vietnam Contemporary Art Center.

He is currently an active organiser and member of The Artists Village and the Sculpture Society Singapore. (Hiah was the former Vice President of The Artists Village in 2001 and Vice President of the Sculpture Society in 2004)
